Writing is my calling and the medium I know most intimately but it’s never been the only way I create. I’m drawn to inspiration wherever it leads whether that means putting words on a page, making something with my hands, teaching myself a new art form simply because an idea struck me, or finding an unexpected way to turn imagination into something tangible.
Rooted in my work with Remote Writing Jobs and my commitment to championing the creative power of writers, RWJ Studio grew from the understanding that imagination was never meant to live in just one form. Think of it as the garage where I park all my ideas from words, design, handcrafted objects, and whatever else calls for creation.
I’m inspired by the overlooked, forgotten, faraway, ordinary, fragments of history, passing light, discarded things, distant places, and moments that barely register. It can come from anywhere, nothing, and everything.
I give myself permission to follow my curiosity, make dope things, and explore what becomes possible when creativity is given room to roam.
