Where writing pays off.
RWJ published its first in-house story yesterday and the next commissions are already in motion.
This publication is funded primarily through paid subscriptions. That support is the backbone of this work. The GoFundMe campaign, launched in December, helped bring this initiative to life, accelerate its earliest stage, and expand the circle of writers I can say yes to.
I pay a respectable rate of $0.50/word, well above the standard minimums many writers receive, and I’m proud to offer it. As this vertical grows, I intend to increase it. Fair, transparent compensation isn’t a perk of this one-woman outlet. It’s my founding principle.
RWJ has always connected writers to paid opportunities. Now I’m creating them. If you believe in strengthening the economic foundation that working writers rely on, you can help move this forward.
Here’s how:
Upgrade your subscription: remotewritingjobs.org/subscribe.
Donate to the campaign: donate.remotewritingjobs.org.
And for anyone building a space for writers, if you set your sights on tangible impact, it can be done.
With gratitude,
Melissa Tripp, Founder of RWJ

I love this and I am on paid subscription. How would one go about submitting their work for this opportunity?
